Mr.Kazuhisa Mishima

Born Jun 23, 1970 in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Fascinated by astronomy since early childhood, he became involved in planetarium operation and astronomy as an amateur astronomer while in middle school.
Currently promotes astronomy through the planetarium and observatory of the Kurashiki Science Center, as its curator.
Has operated a website for more than 30 years explaining to the general public, in easily understandable terms, how to observe artificial satellites such as the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle.
Winner of the 2020 Astronomical Society of Japan Award for Education and Public Outreach in Astronomy
