She usually runs a glasses shop, but for everyone’s benefit, Grandma Yasue will teach you how to make them for those who come to Kurashiki! Temari is made by wrapping a core filled with rice husks with thread and embroidery. It has long been a favorite folk craft of Kurashiki. We will hold a workshop of “Temari”, a popular Kurashiki souvenir. Please make your own one-of-a-kind temari with your favorite pattern. You can decorate your room, make a key chain, or use it in any way you like. The workshop will last approximately 4 hours.
